CLP stands for Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation.
It is an EU directive; “REGULATION (EC) No 1272/2008 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 16 December 2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures.” This applies to Great Britain and Northern Ireland from 1 January 2021.
The directive is relevant to ‘scent mixtures’ and includes products such as Scented Candles and Wax Melts.
Every one of our products has a different CLP label attached to it, which is specific to the scent used, and we hold SDS (Substance Data Sheets), which have been provided by our scent suppliers, for all the scents we have available.
